Number of meters/loop for Modbus RTU? It is unlimited, as long as the gateway/dataconcentrator is able to poll the devices in time. In practice we recommend using maximum 12-16 measurement devices under one gateway, so we can poll them very fast to visualize their real-time values. So there is only hardware limitations, the software is able to poll any amount of device. Min/Max polling rate? The lowest refresh rate that we can set up in AVReporter is 1 second, however it is very rare that a live system supports such a fast Modbus polling rate (especially if the gateway has over 10 slaves). There is only hardware limitation to reach the 1 second refresh time. Maximum polling rate is unlimited, we can set up even 1 year. Online addtion or deletion of meters without restarting? AVReporter supports device management only on it's desktop interface, so we need a remote connection to the server to adjust the communication parameters. We do not have to restart the computer, or any software reporting modules after we modifited the connection properties. Database management - Max size supported? AVReporter supports MS SQL 2008/2012/2014. All of the editions are supported: Express, Standard, Enterprise. The maximum size is limited for 10 gigabytes for SQL Express Edition by Microsoft. The Standard and Enterprise editions support unlimited size. Database management - Support for Access/MSSQL/MYSQL? AVReporter has a Connection Center module, which is able to collect data from Access, MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle, XLS, CSV, TXT files and import them into the AVReporter MS SQL database. This way the end users can easily reach all their data from one place. As another solution, we have a reporting module which is able to directly open Access, MySQL, Oracle, XLS, CSV, TXT, MSSQL and use their data for report creation. The module is called Business Intelligence, and allows working with mixed datasources on the fly for report creation. Database management - Export to Access/MSSQL/MYSQL? With Connection Center we are able to connect to external databases, and export the AVReporter measurement or calculated data into the tables. Database management - Bidirectional data exchange? With Connection Center we can schedule multiple data processing tasks: - First step we process the data of X database and move the data into Y database - Second step we process Y database and move the data back to X database. Online Backup/Restoration? Our Backup and Restore software is a desktop software, it is not accessible from our web-interface.
