Greeting, I would like to ask, wether it is possible to offer Webpublisher as a service torwards our users, with restricted access levels? We have a subscription model which requires us to host data for multiple unique clients each of which want to access reports and charts for multiple sites with multiple Data Points of different types (eg electricity, gas, water, humidity, temp, pH, pressure, etc) via the Internet using common web browsers. (each user have access to specific sites) If we purchase the Advanced edition of AVR plus the WEBPublisher plugin can this package be set up to provide such a hosted service?
Welcome! This is exactly one of the main need, that AVRWebpublisher was created to satisfy. You can organize your users into user-groups, with different level of privileges: the access levels to the device-namespaces can be customized as needed. Creating a web-service like that should be very easy with Webpublisher.
