If the dynamic dashboard is locked You have to check the followings:

    - The realtime dataservice is running.
    AVRRealTimeDataService_Service.png

    - The service settings are correct. (After modification the service must be restart.)
    AVRRealTimeDataService_ServiceSettings.png
    1. AVRDATA database connection
    2. aspnetdb database connection
    3. AVRRelatimeDataService url (It could be "localhost" (example: http://localhost/AVRRealtimeDataService) or computer name (example: http://PC/AVRRealtimeDataService) or external domain name (example: http://www.domain-name.com.))

Important: The realtime service url must be equals the AVRWebpublisher "baseAddress" settings in the web.config!

Check the user settings in the AVRWebPublisher.
System settings >> Manage user accounts >> Modify User >>

You can not modify the dynamic dashboard when it is locked or the editing is disabled.

    Good day,

I am having the "Dashboard locked" when using a remote computer on the network. The browsers that I have tried are Internet Explorer and Firefox. I have checked the above and all is as illustrated however I don't understand this that was written (red text) in the solution, "
Important: The realtime service url must be equals the AVRWebpublisher "baseAddress" settings in the web.config!"

Have tried various log-on accounts however with the same result.

AVRWEBPublisher works correctly on the AVR server machine. All dashboards were created using the AVR server and IE 8.

    AVReport WEBPublisher server:
    Windows Server 2008 R2
    SQL Server 2008

    Remote PC:
    Windows 7 Professional
Web Browser: Firefox and IE 9

    Additional information:
When using WEBPublisher on the server, http://localhost/AVRWEBPublisher is functional however when using http://<servername>/AVRWEBPublisher or http://<IP address>/AVRWEBPublisher as the url, WEBPublisher fails.

    Kind regards
